Can alcohol prep pads carry a clinic's name?

Yes. An alcohol prep pad is a printed pouch around a saturated pad, and the pouch can carry a clinic's name as easily as a manufacturer's. The box can carry the clinic's mark. What cannot change is the Drug Facts panel, which stays on the box exactly as regulation requires.
What is in the box
A box of 90 pads, split into two sizes:
- 60 skin prep, 50×70 mm. For the injection site.
- 30 mat prep, 65×100 mm. For wiping the reconstitution mat before and after a dose.
Each pad is 70% isopropyl alcohol, individually sealed, single use. The box carries a Drug Facts panel: active ingredient, purpose, uses, warnings, directions, and the distributor's name.
Why two sizes
One size of pad does one job well. A pad small enough for a forearm is too small to wipe a mat; a pad large enough for a mat is wasteful on skin. The 60/30 split covers a month of daily injections with a mat wipe every day and some to spare.
What the clinic's name goes on
- Each pouch. The clinic's name is printed on the pouch film. Every pad a patient opens says where it came from.
- The box. The front panel carries the clinic's mark in place of the supplier's.
A plain version, in the Protocol Ritual name, is available for clinics that are not ready to brand.
What to check before ordering
- Read the Drug Facts panel. It is on the box. It states what the pads are and what they are for. Do not accept a pad without one.
- Confirm the alcohol content. 70% isopropyl is the standard antiseptic concentration.
- Confirm the pouch is individually sealed. Pads that share a pouch dry out.
- Get a sample box in hand. Check the print on the pouch, the fold of the box and the count before the run.
How pads fit the rest of the kit
Pads ride in the mesh pocket of the hardshell case. The large pads are sized to the mat. The box of 90 is the refill: a patient finishes a box about the time the next refill arrives.
Questions
What is printed on a branded prep pad?
The clinic's name on each individually sealed pouch, and the clinic's mark on the box. The box also carries the required Drug Facts panel.
Why are there two sizes in one box?
Small pads (50×70 mm) prep the injection site. Large pads (65×100 mm) wipe the reconstitution mat. A box of 90 holds 60 small and 30 large.
Are the pads sterile?
They are individually sealed 70% isopropyl alcohol antiseptic pads for external use, as stated on the Drug Facts panel. Ask the supplier for the box label and read it before ordering.
